PRODUCT CARE & SAFETY

At Affirmation Effect, we want you to enjoy every fragrance experience to the fullest. Proper care helps your candles, reed diffusers, wax melts, and room sprays perform beautifully and safely.

Please read and follow the care and safety instructions below for each product.

CANDLE CARE & BURNING INSTRUCTIONS

To get the most enjoyment and a clean, even burn from your Affirmation Effect candle, follow these guidelines every time you burn it.

BEFORE EACH BURN

Always trim the wick to ¼ inch before lighting.
Place your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface in a well-ventilated room.
Keep the wax pool free of wick trimmings, matches, and other debris.
Make sure the candle is placed away from anything that could catch fire.

WHILE BURNING

Keep your candle away from drafts, vents, fans, and strong air currents.
Never burn your candle for longer than 4 hours at a time.
Allow the candle to cool for at least 2 hours before relighting.
Never leave a burning candle unattended.
Keep candles away from children and pets.
Never move a candle while the wax is hot or liquid.
Do not burn your candle all the way down. For safety, discontinue use when approximately ½ inch of wax remains.

HOW TO EXTINGUISH YOUR CANDLE

Wick Dipper: Gently bend the wick into the melted wax to extinguish the flame. Once the flame is completely out, gently straighten the wick.

Candle Snuffer: Place the snuffer over the flame until it is completely extinguished.

Candle Lid: If your candle includes a lid, carefully place the lid over the candle to suffocate the flame. Allow the candle to cool completely before replacing the lid for storage.

Never use water to extinguish a candle. Water can cause hot wax to splatter and may damage the container.

Allow your candle to cool completely before moving, handling, or relighting it.

REED DIFFUSER CARE & INSTRUCTIONS

Our reed diffusers are designed to provide a continuous, flameless fragrance experience.

GETTING STARTED

Carefully remove the stopper from the diffuser bottle.
Insert the included reeds into the fragrance oil.
Allow the reeds to absorb the fragrance and naturally diffuse the scent into the room.
For a stronger fragrance, gently flip the reeds and place the saturated ends back into the bottle.

FOR BEST RESULTS

Flip the reeds approximately once a week or as needed to refresh the fragrance.
The more frequently you flip the reeds, the stronger the fragrance may become and the faster the oil may be used.
Place your diffuser on a stable, protected surface.
Keep away from direct sunlight, heat sources, vents, and areas with strong air currents.
Keep away from children and pets.
Do not ingest the fragrance oil.
Avoid contact with furniture, finished surfaces, painted surfaces, fabrics, and skin, as fragrance oil may cause staining or damage.
Wash hands after handling saturated reeds.

IMPORTANT

Reed diffuser oil is not for consumption and should not be used on the skin or as a body fragrance.

If a spill occurs, clean the affected surface immediately according to the manufacturer's care instructions for that surface.

WAX MELT CARE & SAFETY

Enjoy your favorite Affirmation Effect fragrance without a traditional candle flame by using our wax melts with an appropriate wax warmer.

HOW TO USE

Place the recommended amount of wax melt into the dish or reservoir of your wax warmer.
Follow the operating and safety instructions provided with your wax warmer.
Turn the warmer on and allow the wax to melt and fragrance your space.
Never leave a wax warmer unattended while in use.
Keep your wax warmer on a stable, heat-resistant surface.

SAFETY

Keep wax warmers away from children and pets.
Keep away from flammable objects, fabrics, curtains, and other materials that could catch fire.
Do not add water to melted wax.
Never move a warmer while the wax is hot or liquid.
Do not overfill the warmer.
Allow the wax to cool completely before handling or changing it.

WHEN TO CHANGE YOUR WAX

When the fragrance is no longer noticeable, allow the wax to cool and solidify completely. Follow your warmer manufacturer's recommendations for removing used wax.

Never pour melted wax down a sink or drain.

ROOM SPRAY CARE & INSTRUCTIONS

Our room sprays are designed to quickly refresh your space with fragrance.

HOW TO USE

Shake well before each use.
Hold the bottle upright and spray 2–3 pumps into the air as needed.
Allow the fragrance to disperse naturally throughout the room.
Use in a well-ventilated area.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

Do not spray directly on skin or use as a body fragrance.
Do not spray directly onto furniture, wood, leather, painted surfaces, electronics, or other delicate or finished surfaces.
Avoid spraying directly onto fabrics unless the product specifically indicates it is fabric-safe.
Keep away from eyes and face.
Do not ingest.
Keep away from children and pets.
Keep away from flames, sparks, heat sources, and other sources of ignition.
Store upright in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat.
